As obvious as it may sound, be prepared, do your homework and find out a little about the company. In particular, know how to get to their offices. IT Mob will provide you with all contact details, addresses, details of interview format etc, and set your expectations as much as we can.

When the interview confirmation details are sent to you, please email back an acknowledgement of receipt, and your commitment to attend the interview.

Do not be late. If you are running late, have the presence of mind to notify the interviewer, and provide an estimated time as to when they should expect you.

Interview Non-Attendance

You expect us to act in a professional manner, and we expect the same of you. If, for whatever reason, you cannot attend an interview please notify us by telephone AND email as soon as possible, so that we can arrange an alternative date for you.

We don't mind rearranging interviews at the last minute. We do take issue, however, with candidates who simply do not attend interviews (with no viable reason), and who then don’t have the courtesy of contacting us or the client. This demonstrates a complete lack of professionalism, and also reflects badly on IT Mob.

This is unacceptable behaviour, as far as we are concerned. In such instances, we allow candidates one last chance to redeem themselves. If, they again fail to attend an interview(and fail to notify either the client or us), we will de-register the candidates details from our database.
